The Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA) is a payment-integration initiative of the European Union for simplification of bank transfers denominated in euro. It helps to transfer money and electronic payments quickly and easily between the countries within the SEPA-zone.

SEPA consists of the EU member states: Austria, Germany, Netherlands, Belgium, Greece, Poland, Bulgaria, Hungary, Portugal, Cyprus, Ireland, Romania, Czech Republic, Italy, Slovak Republic, Denmark, Latvia, Slovenia, Estonia, Lithuania, Spain, Finland, Luxembourg, Sweden, France, Malta and Croatia.
SEPA countries where EUR is not local currency: Norway, Liechtenstein, Iceland, Andorra, Monaco, San Marino, Switzerland, United Kingdom, Vatican City State.
